Following last week’s announcement that prestigious tailor “Finicky Shirts” will be sponsoring the professional players on the 2012 IPA Tour, it is with great pleasure that we can reveal another new clothing sponsorship agreement with the IPA.

This time aimed at the amateur players on the IPA Tour, we are proud to announce that this year’s polo shirts will be sponsored by On Q Promotions. Each registered player will receive their own standard polo style garment, which will include the sponsor’s logo, and with a standardised position allowing for two personal sponsor endorsements.

On Q Promotions are based in Gloucester and are part of a group that includes the acclaimed West Country Snooker Academy and Kay Suzanne Theatre (home of the Professional 8 Ball Pool Masters 2012). The promotions company also look after the interests and management of 25 of Snooker’s elite, including Mark Allen (World Open winner 2012), Rob Milkins, Mark Davis, Jimmy Robertson, Joe Perry and the ever-‐popular Jimmy White.

IPA Vice Chairman, Morray Dolan

“This is simply a staggering move forward for the IPA and the sport as a whole. The IPA committee are delighted to have created this partnership with such a prestigious promotions agency and look forward to working with the whole team on future projects”.

On Q Promotions Chairman, Paul MountThe IPA is right On Q!

“On Q Promotions is delighted to have the opportunity to support the IPA in its new era. As the leading player management company and agency, and the owner of the Kay Suzanne theatre, we had been considering involvement in another cue sport. Up to now, we had not found a suitable sport or organisation that matched our requirements to work with dynamic and forward thinking people, but the emergence of the newly energised IPA has changed all that. I hope to have close links with the IPA for a long time, and to see the organisation and the sport go from strength to strength”

The Kay Suzanne Theatre will also play host to the upcoming, Sky Sports televised Professional 8 Ball Pool Masters (23rd/25th March), for tickets visit www.ipapooltour.com. The purpose built arena is a replica of snookers Mecca, the Sheffield Crucible Theatre, offering seating to accommodate 400 spectators and including a fully licensed bar and food facilities. The theatre is attached to the snooker academy, which has been awarded Centre of Excellence status by the WPBSA, acknowledging its positions at the zenith of cue sports, a position that has only been enhanced with Terry Griffiths’ appointment as Director of Coaching. The future seems bright for On Q Promotions and their partners in Gloucester and elsewhere, and the IPA look forward to come for our mutual benefit.
