The2011-2012 Lucasi Hybrid Cues All American Tour – presented by the American CueSports Alliance (ACS)– showcased its twenty-eighth Tour stop at Greenfields Pool & Sports Bar in Lakewood, CO, Saturday, March 24. The $1,000-added 8-ball scratch tourney on 7-foot Dynamo bar boxes drew 32 players. The tourney finalists featured undefeated Rick Field (Lakewood, CO) versus once-defeated Mark Haddad (Denver, CO). Field had previously upended Robert Rodriguez 5-3, Ray Padilla 5-2, Sam Cordova 5-3, Frank Urbaniak 5-3 and Marc Vidal 5-2 for the hot seat. Haddad outpointed Bill Skinner 5-2, Tony Piazza 5-1 and Melissa Little 5-3 before falling to Marc Vidal in the winner’s side semifinals 4-5. Mark recovered to eliminate Tony Piazza 5-4, Bill Skinner 5-1 and Marc Vidal 5-1 to take his final’s place against Field.
By the title match, Mark Haddad was in great form, and he easily eclipsed Rick Field in two sets 5-1 and 5-2 for the crown!
