After the group stages I was Nr.2 in my group behind Rubilen Amit from the Philippines. So I was put into the first final round where I faced Yukawa from Japan. It was a tough match for both of us. We were not playing well and the match went up and down. I finally took the lead at 7:6 but a missed 5 ball was my last chance on the table. She ran out to go 7:7 and also the next one to kick me out of the event.
“Well this is not my dream result of course. I played really well until my last match. I felt really good on the table and had a great time, but the last one just had too many mistakes in it. There were a lot of good things at this event and that is what I am going to take with me.”
Congrats to Kelly Fisher!
