Steve Davis: reached the final in York seven years ago at age 48
Six-times world champion Steve Davis qualified for next week's UK Championship in York after beating Scotland's world No 35 Jamie Burnett 6-2 in the fourth qualifying round.
Davis, 55, is down to No 48 in the world rankings but has rolled back the years this week at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.On Thursday he battled back from 4-0 down to beat Pankaj Advani of India 6-5.Davis reached the final of the UK Championship seven years ago, losing 10-6 to China's Ding Junhui.
