Six-time champion Steve Davis finds himself in the pick of the first round UK Snooker Championships matches after drawing Ricky Walden.
The tournament kicks off at the York Barbican on November 25 and Davis against Walden will take place on the second day as 128 players seek glory.
Despite Davis’ career coming to a close last season he has received a special invite for the UK Championships with regards to his 36-year iconic career.
Ronnie O’Sullivan, meanwhile, will begin his campaign against the amateur Daniel Wells. Defending champion Neil Robertson will meet Joe O’Connor and world champion Mark Selby faces Oliver Brown in the other standout encounter of the opening round.
Ali Carter, who has recently recovered from lung cancer treatment, will face Zhang Anda while crowd favourite Jimmy White takes on Dave Harold.
