Rob Milkins - Maximum Man

Robert Milkins has written himself into snooker's record books today with a brilliant 147 maximum break in the third frame of his Last 64 match against Xiao Guodong.

It is Milkins' second 147 in his career and his first also came in the World Championship, in 2006 against Mark Selby.

Milkins joins Ronnie O'Sullivan and Stephen Hendry as only the third player to make more than one maximum break in the World Championship.

It is the 11th maximum break in the history of the World Championship and the 87th Official maximum break.

Milkins is now in line to pick up the World Snooker 147 Rolling Prize which currently stands at £1,500, and the £1,000 Pre-Tv high break prize.

The Best of 19 frame match between Milkins and Guodong concludes tonight with the winner going through to face Mark Davis in the final qualifying round on Sunday, for a place at the Crucible.
